Course: Advanced Air Mobility (AAM)

June 16th – 9h to 13h (UTC-3)

This course aims to introduce the concepts, challenges, and opportunities of Advanced Air Mobility, preparing participants for this new connectivity scenario.

This activity will only be presented in Portuguese.

Seminar: Urban Air Mobility

June 16th – 14h to 18h (UTC-3)

The airspace above large urban centers is becoming increasingly congested. In addition to airplanes and helicopters, drones are now part of the landscape. And soon, it will be the turn of electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft (eVTOL), which are expected to begin commercial operations in Brazil in 2027. This seminar will address the impacts of air mobility on cities, with discussions on mobility plans, regulations, airspace organization, ground infrastructure (vertiports and airports), and integration with other modes of transportation.

The full program of speakers will be announced soon.

This activity will only be presented in Portuguese.

Moderator: Alexandre Bürgel – Director – Innova
Partner at Innova, engineer by with expertise in Project Management and Process Mapping. He works in various sectors and roles, including as a speaker, communicator and elected Councilor at the City Hall of São Paulo. Through his work at Innova, he helps companies become more efficient, competitive and humanized, contributing to the construction of a more prosperous and inclusive future.

Forum: eVTOL and Advanced Air Mobility

June 17th and 18th – 9h30 to 18h (UTC-3)

The eVTOL and Advanced Air Mobility Forum is the leading AAM industry event in Latin America. Entering its fourth edition in 2026, the event will bring together speakers from Brazil and other countries to discuss the main topics guiding the implementation of this ecosystem worldwide. With each edition, more data and insights are shared with a qualified and engaged audience.

The mission of the eVTOL Forum is to foster Advanced Air Mobility in the region, bringing the best practices and solutions for the sector to take off. The event, for example, was one of the factors that led the São Paulo City Hall to create a working group to discuss the best way to add electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft (eVTOLs) to the city’s landscape.

In 2026, the eVTOL Forum will focus on five main areas: regulation, aircraft, infrastructure, operation, and airspace.

This forum will have simultaneous translation into Portuguese and English.

Preliminary Program:

June 17th – 9h30 – 18h (UTC-3)

9:30 AM – 10:00 AM – A Viable Model for Advanced Air Mobility
The opening panel provides an overview of the advanced air mobility market worldwide and points out how the entire ecosystem is building a scalable and financially viable model for the commercial operation of eVTOLs.

10:00 AM – 11:00 AM – From Helicopter to eVTOL: Transition and Complementarity of Operations
eVTOLs will be another mode of transport in urban environments, sharing airspace with helicopters, airplanes, and drones. This panel will explore how air taxi companies, currently operating helicopters, will introduce electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft into their businesses.

11:00 AM – 12:00 PM – Social Acceptance as a Fundamental Basis for the Future of Air Mobility
Trust is an important aspect for society to understand and accept another type of aircraft flying overhead. In this panel, experts will discuss the best ways to present the technology to society, emphasizing the pillars of safety and inclusion.

12:00 PM – 1:40 PM – Break

1:40 PM – 2:40 PM – From concept to flight: Eve Air Mobility’s trajectory towards commercial operation
Eve Air Mobility is the company with the largest backlog of eVTOL purchase intentions in the world and remains firm in the certification process. At the same time, it presents the market with solutions that go beyond the aircraft and comprise the entire urban air mobility ecosystem.

2:40 PM – 3:40 PM – Logistics market and transportation optimization with eVTOLs
The operation of eVTOLs is not limited to passenger transport and has interesting prospects for use in the cargo transport market. In this panel, experts will show the opportunities and advantages for logistics operators to add eVTOLs to their businesses.

3:40 PM – 4:00 PM – Break

4:00 PM – 5:00 PM – The long and important path of eVTOL certification
Faced with a disruptive technology, the eVTOL certification process has been the biggest point of attention for the advanced air mobility industry. Experts from manufacturers will present in this panel how they are going through the process that is fundamental to maintaining the high safety standards of aviation and offering the market reliable and efficient aircraft.

5:00 PM – 6:00 PM – Vertiports at airports: the first step in infrastructure for eVTOLs
This panel will update the progress and initial results of the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) regulatory sandbox for vertiports. Started in 2025, this approach gives the market the leading role in developing the foundations that will regulate the infrastructure for eVTOLs in Brazil.

June 18th – 9h30 – 18h (UTC-3)

9:30 AM – 10:00 AM – Advanced Air Mobility within the ICAO Framework
The topic of advanced air mobility has been on the agenda at the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) with working groups seeking to harmonize regulations worldwide for the integration of eVTOLs into traditional aviation. In this panel, an ICAO expert will provide an update on the discussions within the organization.

10:00 AM – 11:00 AM – Airline Networks Extend into Cities
This panel will show how airlines see eVTOLs as an opportunity to extend their route networks into cities, offering transportation from strategic points in large cities to airports and from airports to tourist destinations.

11:00 AM – 12:00 PM – The Evolution of Urban Air Mobility in Latin America
Brazil leads the process of implementing urban air mobility in Latin America, but other countries are also preparing to receive eVTOLs.
